For job seekers
I'm looking for a job
The Lab is a community for job seekers who want the recruiter's view, not more generic advice. Strategy, feedback and accountability from someone who's sat in the hiring meetings.
Wander to Win
I'm Ele, a recruiter with 7+ years in-house across the EU, UK, APAC and the US. I help growing teams hire well and job seekers get hired.

What this is
Wander to Win is where I help two kinds of people. Small teams and scale-ups who need to hire well without a full-time Head of Talent. And job seekers who are tired of guessing what recruiters actually want. Same recruiter, same honesty, either way.
My mission
Too many small teams are hiring blind, and too much career advice comes from people who've never sat in a hiring meeting. I've sat in hundreds of them. My job is to share what I saw there, plainly, so you can make better decisions.
Track record
7+ years
I ran full-cycle recruiting inside one company as it grew from under 100 people to nearly 400 and went global.
100+
One recruiter, one year, more than a hundred people hired.
4 regions
I've hired across time zones, markets and very different pay expectations.
Who I am
Here's the truth: hiring is harder than it looks. Most teams aren't careless. They just can't see all the steps. So roles drag on for months, decisions get rushed at the end, and job seekers get ghosted without ever finding out why. Nobody wins.
I know because I've been inside it. Over seven years in-house, I hired as one company grew from under 100 people to nearly 400 and went global. One year, I made 100+ hires on my own.
And I sat in the debriefs. I've seen great candidates written off for running five minutes late. I've seen teams hire for today's to-do list instead of what they need done in six months, or stretch for a salary the budget was never going to cover.
So I'll tell you what I see, kindly and clearly, even when it's uncomfortable.
I started Wander to Win in 2023 to make hiring feel less like a chore: clear steps for growing teams, honest answers for job seekers.

Case studies
I'm writing up a few recent engagements, from small teams making their first key hires to job seekers who landed the role. Client names stay private, so these will focus on the situation, what I did and the result.

Because people can only show who they really are when they're relaxed, on either side of the table.
Because honest feedback, even the uncomfortable kind, is the fastest way forward.
Because good hiring is a partnership, not a service you hand off.
Because the most valuable person is the one still thriving with you years from now.
Because if you're going to spend 40 hours a week somewhere, you should love it most of the time.

The Hiring Map is a two-week hiring audit for small teams and scale-ups. You'll know who to hire, what to pay and where to find them before you spend a penny on the search.
